Terms of use
Last updated 7 August 2026
1. Who we are
CareProNet (the Care Professionals Network) is a professional network for care professionals, provider organisations, placement commissioners and investors operating in the United Kingdom. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean CareProNet.
2. Membership eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. You must register using accurate personal details and, where you act for an organisation, you must be authorised to do so. One person may hold one personal account.
3. Verification
Verification badges indicate that we have reviewed evidence supplied by a member — professional registration details, DBS information, right-to-work evidence, or regulator registration for organisations. Verification is a good-faith review, not a guarantee, and it does not replace your own pre-employment or commissioning checks. We may withdraw a badge at any time if evidence lapses or is found to be inaccurate.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not publish anything that identifies a person you support, or their family.
- Do not post confidential clinical, safeguarding or commercial information.
- Do not harass, discriminate against or impersonate other members.
- Do not scrape, resell or bulk-export member data.
- Do not upload documents you do not have the right to share.
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or close an account that breaches these rules. Serious safeguarding concerns will be referred to the relevant authority.
5. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a licence to host, display and distribute it within CareProNet for the purpose of running the service. You are responsible for making sure your posts, documents and profile claims are accurate and lawful.
6. Paid subscriptions
Provider and Enterprise subscriptions are billed in advance in pounds sterling. Trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period. Statutory cancellation rights are unaffected.
7. Referrals and opportunities
Placement referrals, opportunities and job listings are posted by members. We are not a party to any placement, contract of employment or commercial agreement formed between members, and we do not act as an employment agency or business.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep CareProNet available and secure, but we provide it “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Closing your account
You can close your account from Settings. We keep a limited record for 30 days so that an accidental closure can be reversed, then delete or anonymise your personal data except where we must retain it by law.
10. Changes and contact
We will tell members about material changes to these terms by email or in-app notice. For anything relating to these terms, contact support@carepronet.org. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
